A Desperate Plea
My desperate plea is that i need a host for MP3 files. Anyone out there know a good free one i think some samples of these tracks would truly improve the articles.
The Glass Bottle: I actually have this album. Sometime around 1970/1971 I came home from an overnight at a friends (I was probably 7 years old at the time), and this record was waiting for me on my bed. My parents said that their friends from upstairs (we were in an apartment building) had given it to me. No other explanation. So I would listen to it. It became part of my record collection (which did also include at the time some Partridge Family, Bobby Sherman, and Three Dog Night - those were really my older sister's records, I was a Beatles fan) I got a kick out the review here because I would also try to figure out who was the singer on a certain song by comparing the sound of the voice with the pictures on the cover (there is also the one guy who looked like Peter Tork from the Monkees). The album itself is nothing special, but I never did know why it was given to me, or why anyone would have decided to buy it and give it to a seven year old. I haven't heard it in at least 30 years (but I know exactly where it is!). Thanks for the reveiw.
